Day 41: This one is for our South Australian readers. Spotted at the book bazaar in Istanbul, where English language books were hard to come by, was this collection of highly sought-after Lonely Planet titles featuring the hottest travel destinations in the world. Prague, Greece, Egypt, Paris and… well, see if you can spot it. Perhaps Adelaide’s controversial “You are here” PR campaign is finally paying off? Could somebody please send this to all Adelaide City Councillors.

Hi Andrew and Kate.
Being an ex South Aussie i did have a laugh about this.
Must have been that extensive advertising spend the Adelaide City Council dedicated to increasing market share in the Istanbul travel dollar. I can’t wait to see the results of the next frontier they are tackling Turkmenistan.
